ADB approved this C-CDTA on 16 March for Supporting Implementation of the Bangladesh Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan (BCCSAP) with an amount of $2million equivalent to the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The C-CDTA is financed by ADB, on a grant basis, from the Japan Special Fund, funded by the Government of Japan. The outcome of the C-CDTA is . with the Bangladesh Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan (BCCSAP) , the Sixth Five-Year Plan, Bangladesh’s Public Finance Management System, and the Paris and Busan Declaration on Aid Effectiveness. To achieve this end, Bangladesh Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan (BCCSAP) was formulated with specific focus on the following six thematic areas, namely (1) food security, social protection and health, (2) comprehensive disaster management, (3) infrastructure, (4) research and knowledge management, (5) mitigation and low-carbon.
